What led me to this career? I was encouraged to pursue law by my high school teachers. My debate club patron and my english teacher, in particular, thought it would suit me well. I also liked the fact that my mentor had pursued law later in his life and seemed to enjoy it immensely.

If you could choose any person from history to be your friend, who would it be and why?
Queen Catherine de’ Medici of France. I find her story awe-inspiring. She faced lots of personal tragedies and was resilient. From the deaths of her husband and children to political struggles in a world that was definitely not build for women to being the center of the religious struggles between catholics and protestants; all these during the cultural and historical shifts during the renaissance in Europe, yet she still remained a force to be reckoned with.
